At Oakhurst trees are not just our vocation, they are our passion.

Oakhurst Arboriculture was established by Alex Esslemont.

Alex was educated in Oxfordshire and went on study Economics and Law at University. After working in London for several years he decided that his interests lay outside the city and decide to refocus his career.

Alex began working for a prestigious Oxfordshire based tree company and decided to retrain at the highly regarded arboricultural college Merrist Wood. From there he gathered a broad range of experience working for a number of highly reputable companies throughout the UK, Sweden and Germany.

Today, Alex and Oakhurst work throughout UK but predominately in the South providing the highest standard of arboricultural services to a wide range of domestic and commercial clients as well as contracting to other tree service providers.
